The Nashville Rose Society serves all of Middle Tennessee by sharing knowledge and information about our national flower, the rose. Through a monthly newsletter and meetings that feature regional and nationally recognized speakers, we bring you advice and instruction geared to growing roses in the specific soil and climatic conditions of this area.
Your membership will bring you a monthly email alerting you to society events and news. In addition, you will be able to buy rose growing supplies at a discount at our annual spring vendor event.
As a member of the Nashville Rose Society, you will have a list of Consulting Rosarians, experts on all aspects of rose culture, who will give you hands on advice, even making garden calls if needed at no charge.
The Nashville Rose Society sponsors an annual spring garden tour featuring a selection of members’ gardens in the Middle Tennessee area. Visiting these gardens provides an opportunity to see garden layouts, rose bed construction, and beautiful roses of all types.
Monthly meetings are usually held on the first Sunday of each month at Botanic Hall (Visitor Services Bldg., Massey Auditorium), Cheekwood with refreshments at 1:30 PM and the meeting 2-4 PM. Entrance is free for regular monthly meetings. The Society also hosts an annual rose show where hundreds of roses, many varieties that you’ve never seen before, will be on display.
